Its an irony for Citizen TV Kenya to post that Mzee Ojwang's funeral was delayed over unpaid bills yet the late has been earningb over 300k monthly from KBC.
To add on these Sonko Rescue Team had earlier promised to stand with the family of mzee till the day they will rest him,All bills were sorted by Sonko and his team.
Despite Mzee earning such big figure,he was left to languish in alcohol dens of Kangemi while fellow artist invested and grow themselves. With 300k, Mzee decided to take the role of an MCA in Changaa dens and rather than doing something constructive to better his life.
Its also saddening to see the likes of Mama Kayai going public blaming government for not taking care of Ojwang yet she is the one who was closer to him and would have advise him to do some investments with the money he was earning rather than living is slums, enjoying local brew and entertaining barmaids .
It pains all Mzee fans to see his body being taken to Langata Cemetery for a burial instead of his homestead yet he had family and friends.
For now, I say rest in peace Mzee but With all this,There is more to this story than what meets the eye.
